Hazel is getting so big!

I still haven't figured out why she opens her mouth so big when sees the camera? When she sees a mirror she sticks her tongue way out and laughs!
She was very entertained by this collapsable storage cube. She figured out how to get toys out of it if she tipped it forward and toward herself.

She loves books; she loves to chew on them, and have them read to her. She also likes to open and close the books while you are trying to read them. She loves her peekaboo book that has pictures of other babies.

She is such a happy baby!

Hazel loves Cherrios!

For some reason this week- Hazel has a very excited reaction to the camera. She throws her head back and smiles really big! Maybe she just wants to show off the cherrios in her mouth?

Hazel in the Sunshine

We are lucky to be in such close proximity to the park! We have found that Hazel really enjoys being in the swing. She doesn't enjoy hats so much- but when you are having fun you can't forget about all those little things that bug you!

Alex took this video this morning. Hazel figured out a way to scoot backwards. She also 'talks' and claps towards the end.

Fun with Ellie

Watch out- she is pretty good at pulling hair now!

Last week Hazel got to spend a day with Aunt Laura and Cousin Ellie. Watching Ellie dance must have worn her out because she took a 3 hour nap while she was there! Laura, what's your trick? I think she looks a lot like her Dad in this picture.

Hanging out with Dad

Why are my pants on my head?

Grandma Nancy made Hazel this pretty sleep sack while she was here this week. Hazel really enjoyed staying home and recovering from her cold with Grandma. Alex and I have both gotten the cold, but luckily Grandma Nancy has avoided it ....so far.

If you know anything about Cicero, you know he always tries to sneak his way into the pictures. He is pretty interested in Hazel- always keeping an eye out for her. She likes to watch him play with toys and even laughs out loud at him. She will reach for him like she wants to pet him, but he usually backs away before she can get a fist full of fur.

Jungle Jumparoo

Hazel is loving her jungle jumparoo! She just bounces and giggles and plays with the toys. It can entertain her for up to 30 minutes sometimes! When she gets going it looks like she is doing the river dance- jumping and criss-crossing her feet mid air- it is pretty hysterical!
